RIYADH: The Muslim World League (MWL) condemned Israeli airstrikes on a Saudi cultural facility and a school in Gaza’s Rafah. These strikes occurred as Israel resumed military operations after a temporary truce with Hamas collapsed.
MWL Secretary-General Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa expressed outrage over the attack on the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage’s warehouse, which destroyed medical supplies for Gaza’s wounded.
He also condemned the strike on Dar Al-Arqam School, which killed and injured many civilians, labeling these acts as “horrific crimes against civilians and civilian facilities.”
Al-Issa called these attacks a violation of international and humanitarian laws, urging the international community to take urgent action and hold those responsible accountable for these war crimes.
This condemnation comes as violence has flared up again in Gaza since March, with Israel resuming bombardments targeting militant infrastructure while humanitarian organizations raise alarms about the worsening crisis and rising civilian casualties.
